
So you have new grass, or you've laid new Sod, now what?
Freshly laid grass if actually very easy to take care of. Even though there are very few rquirements for getting your grass to take root there are very important things you need to know. We will seperate these requirements into do's and dont's of new grass care.
Starting with the dos', one of the most important things I can say is, WATER WATER WATER AND do not forget the WATER. Grass Sod thrives on being well watered, Watering about 3 times a day for 30 minutes. When laying the grass sod make sure you place the stips of sod bud up against each other in a nice organized manner. Spacing your stips will not allow a nice clean look and your sod has a harder time growing together creating a beautiful looking lawn. Besides watering your new grass sod there really is nothing else you will want to do for it, but there are several things you will want to avoid.
Here are a list of things not to do if you want to have a nice looking lawn.
